Grand Contemporary in a Modern Family Home
Nestled in Rancho Santa Fe you will find every style of home you can imagine. Reposa Alta was unique in its ranch-style facade and its newly remodeled contemporary interior. You could tell from the moment you walked in that every finish in this home had been hand-picked for quality and style.
When it comes to staging a newly remodeled home it can be tricky because you want a potential buyer to walk in and feel like this is a place they could live not just a beautiful new shiny thing. The BlueGrape team took special care to work closely with the seller’s agent to curate just the right balance of sophistication and hominess!
From the moment you walk in the grand entrance the home is welcoming and warm, the great room being the focus and the stunning kitchen island a true highlight. We styled this area in a way that a family could functionally live in it, with plush comfy couches, a large dining table, and plenty of island seating.
Right off the great room was the perfect office space for any WFH boss! We loved having a generous space to work with that offered both a high-class feel as well as a comfortable space to spend your business days. Adjacent to the office was the second living room space which we styled with our favorite retro-inspired lunar chairs, cozy yet sophisticated and perfect for curling up with a good book.
The downstairs also included the vast primary suite that offered plenty of space for a grand bed perfect for dreaming, a comfy lounge area, and a stunning bathroom that rivals The Spa at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. We styled this area with modern comfort in mind and kept the color scheme neutral and relaxing.
Upstairs was a family’s perfect wing, with a fun playroom right on top, it offers lots of space to entertain little ones and keep the playtime messes contained. The bunk room was every sibling’s dream which we styled accordingly with a play tent, matching comfy beds, and a reading/play area with bright pops of color.
